About Us

DARREN C.
Born in the UK and trained on the east coast, Darren has been teaching, competing, coaching, and consulting for 17 years. He has worked for some of the top chains in the country and trained with some of the professionals you see on “Dancing with the Stars”. He has won a number of teaching awards and dance awards over the years and worked on the promotion of the motion pictures, “Shall we Dance”, “Dance with Me”, and “Dirty Dancing- Havana Nights”. Darren’s Ballroom was also chosen to promote the Liz Claiborne perfume Mambo during its launch and will be performing as part of Madonnas halftime show this year at the Super Bowl. Darren is excited about sharing his love of dance with the Indianapolis area.

Kim C.
Kim’s love of Ballroom dance began at a young age while watching Fred Astaire musicals with her father. She has been dancing for 8 years and teaching for Darren’s Ballroom for the past 2 years. She runs the studios kids department and teaches adult students both beginner and advanced, her passion for dance is infectious and with many stage and musical productions as well as dance competitions under her belt she is excited to be kicking up her heels at Darren’s Ballroom.

Rebekah D.
Rebekah is originally from Massachusetts and started dancing at a young age.Rebekah was a member of the WNBA Fever dance team and then went on to dance for the Indiana Pacers Dance team, the Pacemates. Rebekah has studied tap, jazz, ballet and many other forms of dance, however she fell in love with ballroom dancing and has been competing and teaching ever since. Rebekah’s goal is to pass on her love of dance to every student she works with!

Grant O.
Grant has been teaching professionally for over 10 years. He is trained in both American and International styles and has won numerous teaching and dance awards. He has worked with professional dancers from all over the world and is certified in all levels. Grant is looking forward to sharing his love of dance and choreography with the Carmel area and watching his students grow and push themselves to new levels.
